Shared Imposter — Online Drawing and Bluffing Game

What is The Shared Imposter?

Everyone draws the same prompt on their own board, with everyone’s drawings visible live. One player gets a blank prompt and must fake their brushstrokes. Compare the drawing, make your accusations, then vote to catch the imposter.

How to play

1. Create a room, share the invitation and wait for at least three players.
2. Read your role. Most players receive the same prompt; one player must draw without that clue.
3. Draw on your own board and watch the others. If you lack the prompt, look for clues in their pictures.
4. Compare the drawings, then cast your vote for the player you suspect is the imposter. Read the reveal before the next round.

Who is it for?

Friend groups who like bluffing, discussion and a little suspicion. Every player draws on their own board, so another person cannot erase your work.

Try this in your first game

A group drawing “camping” may show tents, a fire and stars. A picture copied from the first obvious tent could be a useful discussion point, but it is not certain evidence.

• Draw recognisable clues without simply spelling out the answer.
• Look for changes in a drawing after someone else reveals a detail, but remember that slow drawing alone proves nothing.
• Give everyone a short chance to explain before voting.

Before you invite your friends

How does my friend join?

One person creates the lobby and shares its room code or full invite link. Everyone else joins that same room. Creating a second room will put you in separate games.

Can we play on phones?

Yes. Use a browser on each device and keep the game tab open during the round. A larger screen gives drawings more room. For a call, use your usual voice or video app separately.

Do we need accounts?

No account or download is required to play these games with friends.
