What is Frankenstein?
Pair up on hidden split canvases. One person draws the top half, the other the bottom. Neither sees the other’s work until the halves merge for the big reveal. Designed for even-sized groups.
How to play
- Gather four, six or eight players in the same room.
- Check your assigned half and draw it without seeing the other half.
- Finish your part before the drawing timer runs out.
- See the halves combine, compare the creations and vote for another pair’s result.
Who is it for?
Even-sized groups of friends who enjoy collaborative surprises. Pairing works best when everyone has joined before the host starts.
Try this in your first game
A serious top half and tiny dancing legs can become one wonderfully mismatched character. The surprise comes from drawing independently.
- Use the space near the centre join to make the halves meet clearly.
- Keep your half secret until the reveal.
- Vote for the combined idea rather than the most technically detailed drawing.
Before you invite your friends
How does my friend join?
One person creates the lobby and shares its room code or full invite link. Everyone else joins that same room. Creating a second room will put you in separate games.
Can we play on phones?
Yes. Use a browser on each device and keep the game tab open during the round. A larger screen gives drawings more room. For a call, use your usual voice or video app separately.
Do we need accounts?
No account or download is required to play these games with friends.
