Things to Do Online with Friends When You’re Bored
If your group chat is stuck at “what should we do?”, choose one small activity and start it. Try a drawing round for quick reactions, a shared jigsaw for conversation, or a creative couples mode for two people.

Draw & Guess works with two to eight players. One person hosts, shares the code and starts after friends arrive. Take turns drawing a secret word while the others type guesses. Nobody needs to draw well for the game to work.
Choose a short match using turns per player. The time it takes depends on the settings and how quickly your group guesses, so do not promise everyone an exact finish time.
Want to talk while doing something? Pick a puzzle
A shared jigsaw gives everyone a task without requiring a new conversation topic each minute. Start with 50 pieces if you want to learn the controls. Choose 100 or 200 for a larger shared challenge; completion time depends on the image and your group.
Use a private room for friends or a public table if you want other players to join. One board is shared by everyone, so call out an area you are working on rather than repeatedly moving the same loose pieces.
Only two of you? Make it personal
Try Newlywed Match from the Couples game selection. Use prompts about places, favourite meals or shared memories, then compare your drawings. Fixer-Upper is another choice when you would rather build a scene together.
For partners who are not online at the same time, Daily Doodle gives you the same daily drawing challenge to try separately and discuss later. It is not a live two-player room.
Choose without turning it into a meeting
- Ask one question: do we want to laugh, solve something or make something?
- Let one person choose the first picture or game. Switch who chooses next time.
- Send the invitation in the group chat and wait for names to appear in the lobby.
- Start small. If the group enjoys it, choose another puzzle or another match.
When people lose interest
Change the type of activity, not just the difficulty. Move from guessing under time pressure to solving a picture together. If somebody is on a small phone or struggling to type, choose a lower piece count rather than a large puzzle or a rapid guessing game.
